Don't miss it!
This Saturday brings you one of the best family-friendly festivals Hoboken has to offer: The Hoboken Library Festival, in Church Square Park. This annual community-wide event starts at 11 am, and celebrates literacy and our favorite season: Fall!
But the Library Festival is about more than reading.  It's also a delightful Double-Dutch performance by Jump4Jerry, musical performances by the Bryan Beninghove Trio and by Behique, a reading from My Diwali Light by children's author Raakhee Mirchandani ... there's even a Hispanic Heritage Month cooking demonstration by Ms. Nicole, with samples.
It's your opportunity to meet authors who are neighbors.  More than a dozen local writers will be there, everyone from McKevin Shaughnessy (author of The Hidden Faces of Hoboken) and mystery writer Charles Salzberg, to Maiya Katherine, whose An Apology to My Demons is a chronicle of turning adversity into healing.

Come to this great event and have fun, buy some gently used books from the Friends of the Library, and see what's new (and believe us, there is something new) at your Library.

I look forward to seeing you at the festival on Saturday.

Regards,
Jennie Pu
Library Director
